I’m Jill Pinner! I’m an illustrator and animator who primarily centers my work around humor, nostalgia, relationships, and comfort. I hope to create work that can be a source of nostalgia for others, and inspire others to participate in collaborative works to share their own experiences and voices.  

I have had multiple works shown in the CCS Student Showcase in 2022 and am looking forward to more opportunities to display my work. 

I am currently spending my final year pursuing my BFA in animation at College for Creative Studies in Detroit, MI. I’m working on a short series of mo-graph animations that display my sense of humor through different aesthetics.

In the future I’d love to work on branding materials for our local teams like the NFL Lions, NHL Red Wings, or the MLB Tigers. I also would love to illustrate for a field guide as nature is one of my greatest inspirations.
